Poems [18 Nov 2005|07:53am]

Okay, the first poem is about my friend Brandon. I think most of you know what happened on June 10th. The second one is about JJ. The second poem is a suicide letter that I helped him write. He asked me to come over and help him write a "song".

I didn't even know...

I'm still taking that guilt tripCollapse )

Plaid Skirt Wednesday

It was about that time of day
where she would go out
just to catch a glimpse of him.
He never seemed to notice her,
not even when she wore a plaid skirt...
every Wednesday.
It was a different color,
length, and style
that made the guy's heads turn.
But she never cared;
she only wanted him to notice.
Every day in te halls,
cafeteria, the classrooms,
she could see him.
He hardly said "Hi",
let alone acknowledge her presence.
She kept her distance,
feeling she would
"disrupt the balance of the universe"
or something like it.
Then one Wednesday
she didn't wear a plaid skirt.
She never even showed up.
It was as if she was wiped off the face of the earth.
Months went by and
finally, that boy noticed.
He didn't see a plaid skirt
in class.
He never saw the face who wore the skirts
but he knew there was a girl who wore them.
That's when he sat down,
took paper and pen,
and wrote about a girl
and plaid skirt Wednesday.
